Membership

You become a member, you rent nothing

With most barn systems you pay a subscription, and who owns the data stays vague. With us you buy the equipment at cost and after that it is yours.

On top of that you pay ? euro per bird place per year. That makes you a member, and that membership pays for the further development of the digital barn.

What you pay

? euro per bird place per year

That is the whole amount. No licences, no update fees and no add-on modules on top.

5,000150,000

40,000 bird places · € ?* per year

*We will set this amount with the first members, based on the value created.

Plus the equipment, once, at cost: cameras, microphones and the computer cabinet in your technical room. What that costs depends on your barn. We work it out during the site survey, before you decide anything.

Each hen in this picture stands for 2,500 bird places.

How it grows in your barn

Before we install · step 1

Introduction

It starts with a one-hour introduction on your farm. We get to know you and look around the barn.

Before we install · step 2

Site survey

We survey your barn and work out what the equipment costs. Then you know the amount and what it gives you now.

Before we install · step 3

Decide

If it does not fit, we would like to hear so straight away. If it does, you install it yourself or have one of our installers do it.

From the day we install

Provisional schedule, not yet fixed. We will fill it in once the PEC pilot shows how long each step really takes.

Months 1 to 3

Installing and setting up

Hanging the cameras, placing the computer cabinet and getting the system running in your barn.

Months 4 to 6

Calibrating

Tuning the digital barn to your dimensions, your layout and your way of working.

Months 7 to 12

Training on your barn

The system learns what is normal for you, because that differs per farm and per flock.

Years 2 to 4

A better digital barn every year

More flocks mean more patterns, and the layers we add reach you without anything having to be replaced.

Year 5

Substantiating emission reduction without an ammonia sensor

That is only possible once the system really knows your barn.

The first year is mostly building up.

Three things a member has

The equipment is yours

You buy it at cost, so you can open it up, repair it and keep it if you stop.

You have a say

What members say goes into what we build next. Voting rights come with the cooperative.

Your data stays yours

The raw data stays on your farm. You choose what you share, per type of data.

Membership and the cooperative

Where we are heading

We are working towards a cooperative in which the Dutch members have voting rights on the innovation projects and get part of the revenue back.

Where we are now. Veetality is a private limited company (B.V.). We are discussing the articles of association with the first members and with parties from the sector.
