What we do with your data
This site collects as little as possible. Below is what does happen and why.
Who we are
Veetality B.V., Bronland 10, 6708 WH Wageningen, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 98132814. Questions about your data go to contact@veetality.eu.
If you send us a message
The contact form sends what you fill in as an email to our own inbox: your name, your email address or phone number, your company if you fill it in, the subject and your message. We use it to reply to you or call you back. Our email runs through Google Workspace.
We do not store your message on the web server. To prevent abuse, the server does keep a counter based on an encrypted form of your IP address. We do not store the address itself and the counter disappears after a day.
We keep your message for as long as the contact requires, and no longer.
If you apply for a job
We only use your CV and letter for your application. Afterwards we delete them within four weeks, unless you give us permission to keep them longer.
Visitor statistics
We want to know whether the site does its job. That is why we keep track of which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example via LinkedIn or a search engine), on what kind of device and what they answer when the site asks something, such as which layer matters most to them. We do this with PostHog, on servers in the EU.
On your first visit we ask whether we may use cookies. As long as you choose nothing, we measure nothing.
If you say yes, PostHog stores a random number in a cookie and in your browser. That way we see that you come back. We can then also replay your visit as a recording: where you click and how you scroll. What you type in a form is never visible in those recordings.
If you say no, we place no cookies. We then only count you anonymously, with a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you.
We remember your choice in your browser. You change it via "Cookies" at the bottom of every page. We do not build a profile of you and we do not store your IP address. At most we derive the country from it. PostHog keeps the data for at most a year.
Where the site is hosted
The site runs at Hostinger, in a data centre in the EU. Like any website, the server keeps technical log files to track down faults and abuse.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data and do not pass it on to others, except to the parties above that process it for us.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Email contact@veetality.eu for this. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
